HPTC COVID-19 Protocols
In order for us to operate safely, please adhere to the following protocols when planning to visit the club:
You are highly encouraged to self-screen for COVID-19 before coming to the club. Click here to see how.
Anyone who is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 or has had close contact with a confirmed case cannot enter the club.
If you become ill while at the club, you should go home immediately, and self-isolate. You should review the City of Toronto website for more information about COVID-19 by clicking here.
You should stay at home when you are ill, even if symptoms are mild.
Whenever possible, remain at least two metres from people you don’t live with at all times, including while playing tennis, using amenities (e.g. washroom), and being in the clubhouse.
Provide your name and contact information if asked by facility staff to be used for public health contact tracing purposes, if required.
Practice good hand hygiene before, during and after using the facility and amenities. Click here to learn more.
Bring your own balls, except during programs when balls are provided.
Mask is encouraged when entering the clubhouse.
Q&A
Q: How do we book courts?
A: We have online booking in place. Phone booking is also allowed, although the staff may not always be available to pick-up the phone. In-person booking should be kept to a minimum.
Q: Will guests be allowed at the club?
A: Yes, guests are allowed. Please refer to our Guest Policy.
Q: Will we have access to fresh water?
A: You may use the water bottle refill function, which we clean frequently. You are encouraged to bring your own water bottle pre-filled.
Q: Will you be providing balls?
A: For regular play, no balls will not be provided this season. If you forget to bring balls, we are selling balls, however it is our preference that you bring your own balls.
Q: Will we have access to the washroom?
A: Yes. Members will be allowed to use the washroom facilities. Please remain at least two metres from people you don’t live with at all times. If this is not possible, please wait outside until space becomes available.
Q: Are doubles allowed?
A: Yes, singles and doubles play are allowed. We recommend that doubles partners are from the same household or social bubble.
