How to Join.
Existing member renewal window opens February 13th @ 3:00pm and closes three weeks later on March 6th @ 3:00pm.
Adult & Senior Memberships
Membership is currently at capacity and there are more than 800 names on our wait-list. Therefore we have temporarily disabled the wait-list registration.
When spots become available (around February or March), we will email a number of names from the top of the wait-list (based on the number of spots available) with an invitation on how to register for membership.
When the names have dropped to a more manageable level, we will update this page with an advance heads-up of when the wait-list registration will re-open.
Thank you for your interest in Howard Park Tennis Club.

Airport Tennis
Because we are currently over capacity with membership registrations, we're happy to announce Airport Tennis, in partnership with The Supreme Court Tennis Club, is opening a brand new tennis facility just south of Pearson Airport in the fall of 2023. The club will be located 2 minutes from Highway 401 West at Renforth and will have the capacity for ~800 members across tennis and pickle ball.
Features include a permanent bubble with 7 tennis courts, 5 pickle ball courts, change rooms and lounge.
Check out their website for all the details and to save your spot today.
At HPTC we believe in tennis communities beyond our own, and we hope as many people who want to access this amazing sport can. The more facilities out there, the better it is for all of us, and for the fantastic sport of tennis!
Junior Membership
For this 2022 season, juniors who only wish to participate in camps and/or clinics are not required to purchase a membership. If they wish to be able to book courts for regular play, then a junior membership is required.
Juniors who wish to join as a new member must register for the junior wait-list.
Note that we have temporarily closed the junior wait-list registration.
When spots become available (around February or March), we will email a number of names from the top of the wait-list (based on the number of spots available) with an invitation on how to register for membership and make payments.
When the names on the wait-list have dropped to a more manageable level, we will update this page with an advance heads-up of when the junior wait-list registration will be re-opened.

Adult & Senior Wait-list Policy
Our wait-list is based on a strict sequence.
Each Adult / Senior wishing to be on this wait-list (we have a separate wait-list for Juniors) must be individually registered regardless if you are a family or not (we do not offer family membership).
IMPORTANT: you must use a unique email address for each name.
Seniors are those who are 60 years or older as of January 1st of the year that they register/renew.
From November / December onward, we will send an email to those of you who are near the top of the wait-list. We request that you confirm whether you are still interested in join/wait. Failure to respond within 1 week from the time the email was sent will result in your name being removed from the list.
When spots become available (around February or March), we will email a number of people from the top of the wait-list (based on the number of spots available) with an invitation on how to register for membership and make payments. Failure to register for membership and complete the payments within 3 (three) days will result in a rescinded invitation. We would then offer the spot to another name further down the list until all spots are taken.
If you do not respond to our invitation by October 31st of that same calendar year, you will be completely removed from the wait-list.
It is your responsibility to make sure your email address is accurate and up-to-date.
Note that The City of Toronto requires us to give preference to wait-list members living in the city over those living outside the city.

FAQs
I've registered on the waitlist. Do I have a chance to get in this year?
It depends on where you are on the waitlist and how many members from the previous year decided to return.
How long is the waitlist?
As of Feb 7th 2022, after the waitlist has been refreshed, there are more than 800 names on the Adult & Senior waitlist.
When will I know if I can be a member?
Around February or March, if there are spots for new members, we will be contacting those who are at the top of the waitlist via email.
Does the waitlist continue year after year?
Yes, it does continue year after year.
I am a member. Can I add my family to my account for them to be a member as well?
Unfortunately no. They would have to sign-up on our waitlist and wait for an invite to be a member.
I heard I can line-up in person on Opening Day to register for membership. Is this true?
We did that in the past, but starting in 2021 we will only invite new members strictly from the waitlist.
