Adults and seniors who want to join as a new member, must register for the waitlist.

Juniors are not subjected to waitlist. However, we may temporarily close the junior membership registration from time to time while we determine our Junior program capacity.

Waitlist Policy

  • Waitlist is based on a strict sequence.
  • Each person wishing to be on the waiting list must be individually registered, regardless if you are a family or not.
  • If spots become available, we would email the name(s) at the top of the waitlist. If we hear no response 1 (one) week after that, your name will be removed from the list and you will have to reapply. We would then move further down the list until all the spots are taken.
  • We refresh the waitlist annually. Around end of season, we will send everyone an email and ask that your respond if you are still interested to join / wait. Failure to respond within 1 (one) week from the time the email was sent will result in your name being removed from the list and you will have to reapply.
  • It is your responsibility to make sure your email address is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Junior members (click here to see membership definitions) are not subjected to a waitlist and may be admitted immediately during the registration period.

Note: The new City of Toronto policy for Community Tennis Clubs indicates that waiting list members from the City of Toronto must be given preference over those from outside the City borders.

How can my child sign-up for junior membership?

I've registered on the waitlist. Do I have a chance to get in this year?

It’s difficult to say. It depends on where you are on the waitlist and how many members from last year decided to return.

How long is the waitlist?

As of March 8th 2021, there are 566 names on the waitlist.

When will I know if I can be a member?

Between March 14th and March 28th, if there are spots for new members, we will be contacting those who are at the top of the waitlist via email.

What are my options if I can't be a member this year?

You can play during our public hours which are Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Stat Holidays from 9 PM to 11 PM.

Another option is to play as a guest if you know someone who’s a member. Assuming community tennis clubs are allowed to have guests this year (pending City’s COVID guidelines), our members can play with a guest for a maximum of 10 times per season. Guest fee is $10/day.

Does the waitlist continue year after year?

It does continue year after year.

Near the end of season (around October / November) we’ll send you an email to re-confirm your interest in joining the club. You will have to reply, otherwise you will be removed from the waitlist and would have to apply again. This is our way to keep the waitlist accurate and as short as possible.

I am a member. Can I add my family to my account for them to be a member as well?

Unfortunately no. They would have to sign-up on our waitlist and wait for an invite to be a member.

I heard I can line-up in person on Opening Day to register for membership. Is this true?

We did that in the past, but starting in 2021 we have to follow the city’s direction in regards to waitlist policy. So, no it’s not true.
