Rules

  1. Each match is a pro set. First player to win 8 games (no ad scoring) or the person leading after 45 minutes (max time).
  2. 12 point tie break to be played at 7-7.
  3. The match winner takes the higher ladder rung spot.
  4. You may only challenge players that are within 3 spots above you in the ladder.
  5. The person at the top of Group 2 may challenge the bottom three people from Group 1
  6. If the person higher on the ladder wins the match then all ladder positions remain the same.
  7. If the person higher on the ladder loses then they exchange spots on the ladder with the winner.

When Can You Play A Ladder Match?
Court three (our singles court) can be booked up to seven (7) days in advance for a ladder match.

The club will encourage players to participate by arranging matches. Ideally, each participant should play three times per month.

Hopefully, the ladder will continue to be a success as club members find new partners to play singles within a competitive setting.
