House League 2008

You must be 18 years or older and rated to play in House League.
Our assistant pro, Alan Butler, will assess player ratings on the following days:
Saturday — May 10, 24, 31
Saturday — June 7, 21
12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Sign up with the Court Manager in advance.
Session I:     May 11 to June 15
Session II:    June 22 to July 29
 
* Long weekend matches are moved to Monday night.

Day: Sunday evenings
Time: 7 to 8:30 p.m. (3.0 and below)
8:30 to 10 p.m. (3.5 and above)

Format: Pairs play two 45-minute sessions, first with one opponent, the next session with a different opponent. Each session is one 8-game pro-set. In each game the first deuce point is played normally with full-ad scoring. If there is a second deuce it is played sudden death (no-ad scoring). The receiving pair chooses which player receives the sudden death serve. A tie-breaker is played at 7 games all.
Subs: FIND YOUR OWN — don't let your partner down.
Sub can be at same level of one rating lower (not higher).
Club to gather list of willing subs or those unable to commit to a session.
Capacity: 16 players (or 8 teams) per session.
Session II priority goes to those who haven't played yet. If spots remain, then a draw to fill the league.
Scores: To be tracked by the Court Manager on duty the night of House League and posted at the club.
3 = Win
2 = Tie
1 = Loss
Prizes: Awarded at the year end meeting to team with highest score per session.
