Following on the heels of last year’s success, we are pleased to announce details of the 2009/2010 Winter Social Program! Four events have been scheduled and will take place at the Ontario Racquet Club, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Please note that unlike last year, food and refreshments will not be provided. The on-site café will be open until 8 p.m. for those interested in purchasing snacks or drinks. Following each social, members will have the opportunity for some after-tennis socializing at a local restaurant (location TBA). Invites will be sent the week prior via email, so please keep an eye on your inbox and reply right away as space is limited to 56 participants (48 participants for December 12 social).

Invitations are sent by e-mail about a week prior, so please watch your inbox. Advance reservations not accepted.
Format:
Each social consists of two 45-minute doubles sessions. Matches are scheduled based on player rating.
While the spirit of these events is largely social, every effort is made to arrange balanced matches.
Reservations:
Please RSVP early as space is limited! After we hear from you, an automatic confirmation e-mail will be sent to you with an "RSVP Status." If the status indicates "Reserved," you have secured a spot in the event.
Waiting List:
If the event is full, you will be placed on our waiting list. Note the, RSVP Status, in your confirmation email. If "pending" appears as your status, you will be informed as soon as an opening becomes available.
Guests:
Feel free to invite family or friends who enjoy tennis. Indicate the full name and rating level of everyone attending so we can schedule matches accordingly.
Start Times:
We will contact attendees prior to the event to let you know if your first session is at 5:30 p.m. or 6:15 p.m. Please respect the other players in your foursome by being on time; everyone deserves the maximum amount of playing time!
Note: We are willing to make accommodations for start times under special circumstances. Please provide details in your RSVP.
Cancellations:
Cancellations, without penalty, are accepted no later than midnight the Wednesday before the event. If you cancel too late, you are required to pay the event fee. To cancel your reservation, contact us immediately at:
